DIY Marketing Audit
Recently I had the honor of performing a marketing audit for someone. Yes I know I’m making it sound ceremonial. No, I’m not exaggerating. ;)
A marketing audit is basically a few steps:
Take an inventory of all your clients and the source through which they found you.
Divide your list of clients into 2 categories: Web (they found you online) or Referral (someone recommended you).
Take your (now) 2 lists and create 3 strategies for each. Strategies can include:
(Web) Updating your directory listings with videos (where possible)
(Web) Setting up your Google My Business profile
(Referral) With permission, sending coffee gift cards to local practitioners/potential references and setting up virtual coffee dates to create community.
(Referral) Joining a local clinical consultation group
Decide to stop any marketing strategies that you’ve tried for at least 6 months and haven’t brought in clients and/or haven’t paid for themself.
