Let's talk about where you're going to put all your hard work to use.

There are two main areas you can market your private practice: networking and online.

Networking :

  • Joining or starting a peer clinical consultation group

  • Organizing an instructor-led supervision group

  • Developing an informal referral network of 4-5 professionals with overlapping practices


Online:

  • Therapy Den and similar directories (see a list here)

  • Your website

  • Google My Business

  • Help a Reporter Out


In general, people will first hear about you through a referral from your network, and then check out your credibility online.
