Video: Time Management with Devin Lee

Thanks Devin, and thanks to all who donated to Beacon Village in Portland.

Takeaways from Devin:

Time management is four things:
a. knowing yourself
b. understanding your values
c. learning your energy cycles (she recommends the book When)
d. track your time.

Then, match your time to your values and organize it by energy cycles. Give yourself "true breaks", defined as including autonomy and detachment.

We work on time management in our 8-week program to build your private practice. Everyone has their own pace and level of energy, focus, etc. It’s hard to build your private practice on your own, and even harder to do it in a short period of time (vs. over a span of 6-12 months, which is the usual pace when building alone). If you’re interested in working with your peers to start this next phase of your career, come check out the Create Opportunity program and consider joining.
