Event: Trauma + Words Workshop
Come join our Trauma + Words Workshop & Fundraiser on January 28th from 6-7pm!
You’ll learn about improving your skills for working with trauma, and translating that into the language you use on your website. Susie Snyder, LCSW and Lloyd Collective will be presenting.
Susie, an incredibly skilled clinician (and a clinical mentor of Ariana’s), will present on 3 skills she has found essential in her years of working with folks who have experienced trauma.
Ariana runs a private practice specializing in clinical supervision, and is the founder of Lloyd Collective, which focuses on helping liberation-oriented therapists start a private practice. Ariana will be providing templates for copy-writing, so you know how to speak to your clients on your website.

Develops therapeutic rapport before you actually meet your client.
Uproots white supremacist-saturated beliefs present in the mental health field.
The workshop is by donation, and we will pausing half-way through for you to make your donation to Black Resilience Fund, an emergency fund dedicated to healing and resilience by providing immediate resources to Black Portlanders.
