Event: 3 Questions for Serving BIPOC Folx

Please join the very lovely Silvana Espinoza Lau, LMFT and I on July 20th at 5:30pm PST for a workshop on 3 Questions to Ask Yourself When Serving the BIPOC Community.

Silvana is the owner of Seventh Self Counseling and she focuses on so many things, including acculturation and 1st and 2nd generation imposter syndrome. She also helps those experiencing intergenerational trauma, and racialized trauma from systems of oppression. I am so honored that Silvana is joining us, and grateful for the work she does.

After Silvana’s presentation, I’ll be sharing 3 (of the many) mistakes I’ve made when serving the BIPOC community, so we can all learn as we grow.

This training is free, and we will be pausing in the middle for donations! Silvana has chosen to fundraise for Causa, which works for Latinx immigrants and their families in Oregon through advocacy, coalition building, leadership development, and civic engagement. Their vision is a community that welcomes and values the contributions, strengths, and assets of Latino immigrants and their families.
