Reason 2: Your Business Can Create Community

One of the most exciting aspects of being a private practice owner is the opportunity to contribute to our community. We can go beyond our individual practices, creating a broader impact that extends to the lives of those around us.

Even just asking ourselves the question how can I contribute to my community? yields really fun and fresh ideas. I've seen private practice owners:

  • start really beautiful support groups for their community

  • open up art spaces

  • initiate mutual aid funds

  • pass through a portion of their earnings

  • have generously educational instagram channels

  • start non-profits

  • provide pro bono service, and more.

In my own journey I've been fortunate to give talks, host community gatherings, run fundraising workshops, generate content via a podcast, and pass through earnings. It's been so rewarding. It generates love for my community, and helps me feel connected to a larger mission than just myself.

Our communities need us, and the entrepreneurial path allows us to show up for them in unique ways.

I'd love to help you start on this path and begin your private practice and lay the groundwork for community engagement as well. Enrollment is open now for Create Opportunity, and we begin the second week of January.

PS: In the spirit of community and generosity, I'd love to give back by offering you or one of your friends a deeply discounted spot in our next cohort of Create Opportunity. If this is you or someone you know, comment below!
