About Money (part 1)
This is one of a two-part series.
There are two thoughts I want to share with you about money:
A. Generally speaking, you are in control of what you earn.
B. It's ok to earn money.
On A:
I remember in one of my first mastermind sessions with Annie Schuessler, she asked us to consider what our business model was set up to make. She emphasized that whatever it was set up to do was exactly what it would do. And she was right.
Let's give you a 40 work-week year (minus 12 from 52 weeks to account for vacation, sick days, client absences, etc.).
20 clients a week at $150/hr= $3000 a week, $10K a month, and about $120K a year.
12 clients a week at $100/hr= $1200 a week, $4K a month and $48K a year.
5 clients a week at $125/hr + one group a week with 10 people paying $20/hr= $825 a week, $2083 a month and $25,000.
And so on.
It's fun to do the math. It's important to do the math.
I'll note, though, that it doesn't mean things will always work out this way, and I want you to know there's no shame or judgment when real life sets in and we need to tend to other things instead. I mostly want you to know you have options, and you have perhaps more say in this area than you've been taught to believe.
Are you interested in starting a private practice rooted in values of power-sharing, liberation, generosity, creativity and healing? Let me know.
